“有一只好饿好饿的毛毛虫，周一吃了一颗苹果，周二吃了两个梨子，周三吃了三个李子。。。最后把自己裹在茧里，变成了一只大蝴蝶”

看似简单的内容，却大有玄机。毛毛虫钻过苹果，梨等东西的时候，都是留下真的小洞的哦，小宝宝们对此可是爱的不得了。看百遍也不厌烦的。



另外，作者Eric Carle也是非常受世界各地小朋友欢迎的作家，他非常擅长用各种特殊的手法制作图画书，像这本毛毛虫的书，他就通过拼贴，穿洞等多种手法来完成。而在另外一本“萤火虫”的书中，就用上了真的可以发光的元素，使书中的萤火虫可以真的一闪一闪的亮起来。在国外，很多幼儿园，都是带着孩子自己制作属于小朋友们自己的图画书。

月光下，

一顆小小的蛋

躺在葉子上。



星期天早上，暖和的太陽升上來了。

Pop一聲，一條又小又餓的毛毛蟲，從蛋裡爬了出來。



他要去找一些東西來吃。



星期一，

他吃了一個蘋果。

可是，

肚子還是好餓。



星期二，

他吃了兩個梨子。

可是，

肚子還是好餓。



星期三，

他吃了三個李子。

可是，

肚子還是好餓。



星期四，

他吃了四個草莓。

可是，

肚子還是好餓。



星期五，

他吃了五個橘子。

The very hungry caterpillar



In the light of the moon a little egg lay on a leaf.



One Sunday morning the warm sun came up and–pop!-out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar: He started to look for some food.



On Monday he ate through one apple. But he was still hungry.



On Tuesday he ate through two pears, but he was still hungry.



On Wednesday he ate through three plums, but he was still hungry.



On Thursday he ate through four strawberries, but he was still hungry.



On Friday he ate through five oranges, but he was still hungry.



On Saturday he ate through one piece of chocolate cake,

one ice-cream cone, one pickle,

one slice of Swiss cheese,

one slice of salami, one lollipop,

one piece of cherry pie,

one sausage,

one cupcake, and one slice of watermelon,

That night he had a stomachache!



The next day was Sunday again. The caterpillar ate through one nice green leaf, and after that he felt much better.



Now he wasn’t hungry any more-and he wasn’t a little caterpillar any more.

He was a big, fat caterpillar.



He built a small house, called a cocoon, around himself. He stayed inside for more than two weeks. Then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon, pushed his way out an…
