成人英语角流程：







1 Background







The host or hostess will briefly introduce the topic's background.







2 Activities







Section one: warm-up exercise (25 minutes = 10 minutes for group discussion + 12 minutes for presentation)







Tell us your most cheerful, interesting, or embarrassing experience during past several months. (For group discussion, each person will have 1 to 1.5 minutes. 10 minutes in total).







Expectations:



1) select a team leader, whose duty is to coordinate the discussion process, so that the discussion will go on efficiently and effectively, that everyone in the group will have an equal opportunity to express his/her opinion, and that no one dominates the whole discussion;



2) select a representative to make a summary of the group discussion at last.







Section Two: discussion on Olympics!

我们一直在做公益的成人英语角，但我们认为最缺语言环境的不是成人而是孩子们。适合他们的英语活动太少了，繁重的学习也让孩子几乎没有时间跟同龄人一起嬉戏。 睿博英语特别组织了《北京青少年英语角Teenagers活动》，欢迎9岁-16岁之间的小朋友参加，也欢迎家长一起来参与我们的活动。

Section A: Greeting and Story-sharing







Self-introduction for our new friends.



What happened in the last week?



Any interesting story?







Section B: Group activities







1)Book-sharing---Everyone should bring his or her favorite book (Either English or Chinese is OK.)



Tell others what the book is about and read a favorite paragraph.



Then explain why you like this book.



Other people can ask any questions about this book







2) Group debate



Opinion of Team A:“You can read any books you like”



Opinion of Team B:“You should only read the good books/classic works(经典著作)”



We will separate into two teams.



Each team should have a leader and take turns to support their opinion.







Fun time



Word-guessing game (team competition)
